"Life changes in an instant, an ordinary instant..."
One day you're turning 27 and blowing out a single candle on a cupcake from the Cheesecake Factory. You're preparing for a day of craziness and travel before you get serious and helm the release of your next novel, but then you're getting a phone call, and you're suddenly wishing you were 26 for a few more hours, and (terribly, selfishly wishing) that the call would've waited six days. Six. Days.
I'm writing this status on an impulse, so I can't say that I've thought this through because I haven't. I truly haven't, but I do know that I can only deal with so much in one year, and as well as I've dealt with things previously/privately, this one will be a lot harder to swallow. And I'd be lying if I said I can handle this on top of giving 100% to my career right now.
That said, later this weekend at some point, I'll be pulling Turbulence (and Forget You, Ethan) from pre-order status. If you’ve pre-ordered the books, THANK YOU, and I am truly sorry if you're disappointed.
If I've committed to a signing and it falls anywhere between now and May, I will be emailing you next week at some point and pulling out.
If you won an ARC of Turbulence in the Come Fly With Me Campaign last week/any other giveaway, don't worry. You'll still receive one. If I'm not able to publish Turbulence within a quick turnaround time frame, I will post the entire book on my blog.
Thank you for understanding.
